Viral Video Asks, "Why the Hell Would You Want to Live in Miami?"

Xtranormal's do-it-yourself computer-animated videos with monotone computer voices are the latest minitrend in viral videos. Geico has even used the site's video-making service in its commercials. Usually the videos pit someone naive against someone irate, and it was only a matter of time before someone made one targeting our fair city. It calls our airport "a mix of a reggaeton concert and a flea market."

We're really not sure why anyone would still go to a travel agent, but the video pits a woman interested in moving to Miami against a somewhat bigoted, Miami-hating travel agent trying to talk her out of it. Apparently he fears she'll wind up "bound and gagged in a dumpster in Little Havana." Listen, travel agent, that woman was found in a dumpster in North Miami, OK? Little Havana is actually a pretty nice, safe area. Though he is right about the "most normal events being turned into a dance party with a strung-out DJ."

Whatever, we're going to stick with the "Miami is a culturally diverse city with many opportunities" line.

The streets and parking lots everywhere are crowded enough. I hope the video stops anyone else from moving here and encourages a few transplants already here to leave.

This is spot on. Everything "great" about Miami is repeated over and over like a mantra by Miamians who dont want to face the simple fact that Miami. SUCKS.

"Culturally diverse" is laughable. Different Latin cultures in great...but hardly "diverse". Now, there's nothing wrong with being a Latin city...it's actually one of the few truly cool things about Miami. But can we PLEASE stop with the "culturally diverse" thing? The Haitians are reviled and mistreated, there is no sizeable Asian or Indian population...I mean, can you imagine if a white neighborhood claimed to be "diverse" because it's white people had different Westerm European backgrounds?

It is a great vacation spot...one of the best places to spend a week dancing all night, getting drunk, and recovering on the beach. And that's great. Let's stop there, ok?

According to a recent survey, whites/caucasians contribute to 15% of the "culturally diverse" population in Miami. Thankfully, I am now a minority and can file discrimination suits in court. Hooray.

Club Space customer killed

It was a model last seen at the drug den Club Space on NE 11th Street who was found burnt to a crisp in a dumpster in N. Miami. Killer was never identified.

Actually Little Havana is where the guy was kidnapped from the club on top of that mexican restaurant on 8th street and 6th ave chopped up into pieces and his body parts put into plastic bags and thrown into separate points in the Miami River...
