• ALL I HAVE TO SAY '' is a co-worker snitched on him'' WHY ELSE YOUR OWN ''PCB'' professional compliance bureau aka internal affairs be stalking you all hours of the night.. people will give a sympathy excuse on here because they may know him.. well what about the other 14,685 people in dade county arrested each year for the same charge.. police are held to a higher standard and should know better.. no excuses if you have personal issues in your life ..go to the county psycologist or your own.. stop giving free passes because they are personally known or co-worker...shame on you as AL SUNSHINE would say...again if you are law enforcement read your STATE OBJECTIVES again...lesson leard or tough love

• Are we not supposed to be innocent until proven guilty? Anyone can make a mistake or get involved in something that they should not have for reasons that we can't explain or are unknown to us. If our society starts firing every individual from their jobs for doing something illegal, 90% of the work force would be collecting unemployment. Let's not forget all the Officers that have died in the Line of Duty while serving and protecting those same people who judge and criticize what they do and the method they do it in.

• Why do you assume that he's Cuban? He could be Puerto Rican, Mexican, Costa Rican, Peruvian, Nicaraguen, Salvadorean, Chilean, Colombian, Venezuelean, Argentinean, and so forth. Not all corrupt cops in Miami are Cuban. Do you need for me to provide you a list with their nationalities and ethnicity?

• Joey, for whatever reason you were caught on the wrong side of the law, as an ex-cop/ex-co-worker, I pray that you are able to bounce back from this setback and move forward with your life. ADS

• Just like everyone like him have gotten away with the same kind of "crime", justice here in Miami only serves those who are on the right side of the right agenda. I put the word "crime" in quotes because the definition and consequences varies on who you know, who you work for, how much you may have in the bank, or which judge your associates can bribe to drop the charges. It's disgusting and these are the reasons why people have no respect toward Miami law enforcement. For the officers that are honest and behave ethically in the field, they need to school their partners becuase it's getting out of control.

• Where is the current mug-shot? Hell, the media posts every other criminal's mug-even LeBron James' mother and some inside video. I guess he gets the paid suspension too.
