Liván Hernández, Former Marlins Pitcher, Linked to Drug Trafficking Investigation
![]() |
Hernández, who now pitches for the Washington Nationals, might have some strange financial links to the notorious trafficker. He's been fingered for possibly helping Vázquez launder money.
From USA Today:
According to the Associated Press, prosecutors presented evidence at the drug trial, which ended Tuesday, that Vazquez had a Porsche, a Lamborghini and a warehouse containing a recording studio, a barber shop and a car repair shop registered in the name of the Washington Nationals pitcher.Hernández, though, has so far not been charged with any wrongdoing, and Washington Nationals management plans to monitor the legal situation.
"There is nothing interesting," Hernández said in Spanish to a Washington Post reporter. "When it's interesting, I'll tell you."
He declined to comment further.
