Man Tries to Abduct Teen from Bus Stop, Blows Her a Kiss Before Leaving

​Earlier this week, a 16-year-old girl was waiting for her bus, instead she almost was forcibly dragged into the back of a stranger's car. City of Miami Police are on the search for a man who tried to abduct the girl. His original attempt was thwarted, but as he drove off, he blew his victim a kiss and told her he'd be back tomorrow.

The incident occurred at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday at a bus stop on Northwest 42nd Avenue and 7th Street. The teenager was listening to her iPod when the man drove up in an older, four-door hatchback.

He originally passed the girl, but drove back moments later. He then got out of his car and started grabbing the girl, trying to force her into the car.

The victim struggles and started screaming for help. She latched on to the bus stop and wouldn't let go. A nearby woman saw the incident and started to scream at him.

That was enough for the man to abort the attempt, but before leaving he blew the girl a kiss and told her he'd see her again.

Police have released the above sketch of the suspect and describe him as being in his late 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and around 160 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
