Now You Too Can Incorporate Your Uterus!

Last week, Democrat state Rep. Scott Randolph made House Republicans uncomfortable when he dared to say the word uterus on the House floor. He suggested that his wife "incorporate" hers to get Republicans to stop mandating what she and other woman do with it. Although Florida Republicans are pushing through a host of anti-abortion measures, uttering the scientifically correct word for a major organ involved in pregnancy is apparently too much for the GOP. Well, the ACLU of Florida has struck back, and thanks to a new website, you too can now incorporate your uterus!

The group has rolled out IncorporateMyUterus.com, a web address that was surprisingly unused, to send a message to state Republicans.

"Of course, you can't legally Incorporate Your Uterus, but you can online," the site reads. "And by doing so, you can send a message to the Florida Legislature that less regulation and government intrusion begins with a woman's uterus."

Randolph appeared last night on The Rachel Maddow Show, where he and the host had a lengthy discussion about Florida politics.

I don't even have a uterus ( not any more that is) & I still want to go to this site & register! If for no other reason than to let these crazy politicians & the Lifers know that what a woman does with her own body is between her & her Goddess/God. When I was faced with the abortion decision back in the early 70s, there were damn few choices...fly standby out of state to a legal abortion clinic (ironically enough it was in Washington, DC. ...go figure!?!) OR go to an illegal, back alley clinic in the city where I lived. After much agonizing, inner searching, & procrastinating I finally decided @ the very last possible moment to have my baby AGAINST the baby-daddy's (who I was married to at the time!) wishes & without any of his support!! When my son was 5y9m old he was killed in an accidental fall but I am so grateful to have had even that short time with him. However, even more so...I am so very, VERY grateful that I atleast had the freedom to decide for myself rather than having some politician passing a law dictating what I could or could not do with my own body!!

This is truly pathetic. It's about time that politicians started doing the job for which they were hired instead of trying to "babysit" the American public. Government is in place to protect us from criminals and hostile foreign powers, yet they somehow believe that they must also protect us from ourselves. @ ALL POLITICIANS... do your job and let us be free or you will be removed from office.

still I will say, I see no one dragging women to so called abortion clinics forcing them to have abortions. They have the right to choose, to have a child or not. No one can force them to do so to abort a Wanted pregnancy. BUT I have seen women dragged screaming from so called abortion clinics and being forced to carry an unwanted fetus to term left with no choice but have a unwanted un loved child! or dragged from a buring fire bombed "abortion clinics" Thats is actually a OB/GYN clinic serving both types of instances. So Stay out of my Uterus or i am going to take up house in your testies. You definately wont want that cause once a month i have a need to use testies as a punching bag!

The Supreme Court of the United States agrees with the left on this issue. The government has no right to stipulate what can and can't be done with ones own body. If you honestly believe that the government can abolish abortion you must also welcome mandatory diet rules and penalties for not performing the necessary amount of exercise to protect the governments medicare investment etc.
