NBA's Leading Scorer Kevin Durant is Coming to Miami (as a Resident)

The Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant is taking his talents to downtown Miami. No, the NBA's leading scorer is not planning on adding himself to the Miami Heat's monopoly on superstar talent. He's just going to presumably bring his home-making talent here during the off-season, and has bought an $1.825 million penthouse apartment at 900 Biscayne Bay. It happens to be the in the same building where Dwyane Wade also has a unit.

The South Florida Business Journal reports that K. Durant Enterprises bought the three-bedroom, 3,535-square-foot condo late last month.

The Heat's Dwyane Wade is currently leasing a unit in the building just three floors below Durant's. Wade probably won't stay there much once he moves into the $10.6 million Miami Beach mansion he recently bought.

Durant, who is under contract with the Thunder until the 2015-16 season, bought the property directly from Terra Corp, the developers of the building, and will be the first person to actually live in the apartment.

However, a couple of pictures of Durant's new view of the Port of Miami were uploaded to real estate sites. Durant will also have a rather nice view of American Airlines Arena from his balcony.
