Scottie Pippen Says LeBron James Might Be Better Than Michael Jordan

The Miami Heat left the Chicago Bulls wounded last night, and who's come along to rub in the salt? None other than Scottie Pippen. Michael Jordan's former right-hand-man was on ESPN's Mike and Mike in the Morning today and said that LeBron James might actually be a better basketball player than Jordan.

"Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play the game. I may go so far as saying LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game," said Pippen.

Pippen, as we know from his wife's participation on Real Housewives of Miami, currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, solid Heat territory. Seems even Pippen couldn't resist the local excitement over the Heat.

"You have to be on your Ps and Qs on defense," continued Pippen. "No guy on the basketball court is not a threat to score with LeBron James out there. Not only will LeBron dominate from the offensive end as well, but he's also doing it on the defensive end which really makes him the complete package. He's able to get in those passing lanes, shoot those gaps and create transition opportunities where he is pretty much unstoppable."

Young professionals and established businesspeople head to Brickell to be near the financial center of Miami. Condos here make perfect holiday homes too, thanks to the luxury facilities available in the towers and the stunning beaches and other amenities available nearby.

i think Pippen is just one player, not a star. Jordan not only super star but also the leader of the whole team, his leadership is so far for James, and i think James could not be forever...

Now, lets not get too ahead of ourselves here folks. LBJ may be the best player in the league, but MJ played in a different era of basketball. Also, MJ was 6'6 and Lebron is 6'8 so that also helps. Remember it took Jordan 7 years to win that first championship in 91'. But I honestly do not think Lebron could have scored like MJ in the 80s and 90s era of basketball. Here is a guy that scored 63 points against the legendary 1986 Celtics in only his second year. That is impressive.

Lebron's D is definitely better than Jordans.  Doesn't hurt that he's a few inches taller than Jordan too.

Hmmmm... (1) Pippen would never of been as good without Jordan... and (2) Jordan won titles... (3) Jordan won titles mainly by himself  (4) Lebron could not do that in Cleveland (5) Lebron needs Wade and Bosh (7) Lebron only came to Miami to take his skills to South Beach... he's here for the fun and sun first... a title second.

Jordan did NOT win by himself. He had plenty of help from guys like Pippen, Grant, Paxson, Cartwright, Rodman, Kukoc, Kerr, Longley, Harper, etc.

Well Jordan did not win by himself.. He had Pippen every year that he won.. So that is no where near the truth.. I'm not saying I agree  or disagree with  Pippen but  he was not a side kick it's just that Jordan was soo great he made Pippen look like a role player.. Pippen come of been a star on any other team.. Jordan would not have won with out Pippen he is just one man at the end of the day.. Lebron didn't have anybody on the Cavs like Pippen.. The Cavs Failed to get the right people for Lebron..

As much as I respect Lebron and his current form, he needs the rings first. Then we can talk Jordan/James comparison. That being said, it's only a matter of time.

Then? After Bron gets "a ring" You'll now compare the number of rings? Geez.
