Dolphins Will "Definitely" Add Veteran QB, But Considering Terrelle Pryor
From The Sun-Sentinel:
Ireland stressed re-signing Tyler Thigpen remains an option, especially if he's a restricted free agent under the next CBA rules, but he again stressed the Dolphins "will add a veteran quarterback" even if Thigpen's brought back....There are a number of veteran QBs who will be floating around in free agency once this whole labor dispute gets straightened out. The latest Dolphins rumors centered around Vince Young. Though, there's also been buzz about Carson Palmer. The names of Kevin Kolb, Donovan McNabb, Kyle Orton, and Alex Smith have also been bounced around.
The Dolphins weren't able to nab a quality quarterback in the draft, but their hopes for a fresh new draftee might not be completely shattered.
Ireland says has begun "the process of evaluating an Ohio State player." He can't mention names, but everyone knows that means Pryor.
