Cops arent trained to shoot you in the leg and hurt you.  They dont pop off warning shots.  They are trained to neutralize the threat to both themselves and the PUBLIC!  The same public that is Monday morning QBing what happened, and how it was handled "wrong."  And too many shots were fired.  Whatever.  Police have a sworn duty to protect the public and that is exactly what they did, and I would expect them to do it again the same way if it stops an asshole like this from mowing down my family/friends.

i must say after reading these post..some ppl are so ignorant and judgemental. Nobody knows what really happened. But whatever the case may be it was not necessary to fire 100+ rounds. And when i watched the video i didn't see any gunshots come from the car.. MPD endangered hundreds of ppl for what? 

Just because he is a criminal doesnt mean he deserved to die. We all commit sin and as it says in the bible the wages of sin are death.

So would it be fair to say that all of us who have committed sin deserve to get shot?

I also watched the video of the event... his car NEVER came out of park. He was NOT trying to run anyone over. He just didn't want to get out of the car, so they shot him dead. MBPD needs to stop thinking they rule the world....

I watched the video taken from the window of an apt and there were shots fired from the car, end of story. Look at him! omg.

Around 100 shots fired by the police just to kill one guy . I think the Miami beach police needs to take more trips to the pistol range just to either get better to target precision or maybe better have the urge to release their weapons.. I may understand they get bored a lot getting pay 100k + per year.. Maybe the guy decerved to died or maybe not.. But I'dnt be surprise if the people that got shot were hit by police bullets..
