If former Carol City High football star Willie Williams played his cards right, he'd be spending his summer locked out of the NFL. Instead he's once again locked behind bars. Cincinnati.com reports Williams is being held in jail on charges of second-degree robbery in Ohio.

Williams was arrested in Fort Mitchell, Ohio last weekend. His bail was set at $5,000, but Williams still sits in the Kenton County Detention Center. His first court date is set for July 19.

No other details of the robbery were reported.

Williams is no stranger to breaking the law.

In 2004, he was the most touted high school linebacker in the state, and his tour of potential schools became something of a media spectacle as Williams kept a candid diary of his visits that was published in the Miami Herald. It included references to flying on private jets and dining on steak and lobster.

Williams was arrested while visiting the University of Florida and has been arrested 13 other times. Despite all of this, the University of Miami allowed Williams to enroll. But he was unhappy with his playing time and left the school. He bounced around four schools, including some in the NAIA, over the next three years, and slowly saw his hopes of someday making it to the NFL fade. Further arrests also dotted William's college career.

Williams last made news when he was arrested in 2009.

Funny that you fail to mention every school would have taken him and he actually stayed out of trouble entirely while a Hurricane.
