Miami International Airport TSA Upgrade Means No More Naked Body Scans

Bad news for techno-exhibitionists, and good news for pretty much everyone else: the days of those full body scans that leave little to the imagination at Miami International Airport security check points will soon be over. The Transportation Security Administration is rolling out new technology at MIA and 39 other airports that will allow screeners to scan your body without getting a glimpse of your every nook and fleshy cranny.

The Transportation Security Administration says it's installing new technology in some U.S. airports so when a traveler goes through checkpoint security, a generic outline of a person's body will be shown instead of the image of a naked body, reports the Associated Press.

So basically, that weird, grayish blob that maps out your body won't be seen by screeners, and instead, they'll just see a generic body template. Though, dangerous items will still show up on the screen. Basically, TSA won't be able to see your meat gun but will be able to see a real gun.
