Sofia Vergara's Brother Deported After Multiple Arrests for Pot Possession

"To see somebody dying over 10 years, little by little, that's the worst punishment," Vergara recently said of her troubled brother in Parade magazine. "Now he's like another person."
The star also indicated that her brother has been fighting addictions to alcohol, pot, cocaine and crack, which his arrest record backs up. Most of his nearly 30 arrests came in Miami-Dade, and charges have included drinking in public, petty larceny, assault and battery, grand theft, cocaine possession and, most frequently, marijuana possession.
In fact, Julio was once picked up three times in a single month back in February 2010 and arrested each time for marijuana-related charges.
An arrest in April of this year on marijuana possession seemed to be the last straw. Star reports he was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, and an immigration judge ultimately ordered his May 9 deportation back to Colombia.
