Young Son of Alexia Echevarria, Real Housewives Star, Badly Injured in Car Wreck

​Frankie, the 13-year-old son of Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria who often appeared on the show alongside his mother, is recovering from a serious car crash this past weekend. Multiple sources say the injuries were quite serious, and the boy underwent pelvic surgery yesterday.

The Miami Herald reports the boy is in the intensive care unit of a local hospital, and sources say his condition is very bad.

"Frankie's pelvic surgery went well today thanks to God and all your prayers, Echevarria tweeted late last night. "He is stable and getting stronger day by day."

Details of the accident haven't been released, other than that someone else was driving and that rain might have played a role.
