Drunk, Homeless Tampa Bay Woman Arrested for Stripping at Club That Didn't Employ Her

Oh sure, it looks easy. And there isn't any sort of rigorous training or certification required, but it's always best to leave stripping to the professionals. Just ask Natalie M. Behnke of Clearwater. She tried to strip down and collect money at the Baby Dolls club in Tampa Bay but wasn't employed there. Instead she was arrested and fined $450.

Behnke -- who according to the St. Pete Times is a "habitual juvenile offender"-turned-"25-year-old transient" -- got up onstage at Baby Dolls, took off her clothes, shook her stuff, and asked customers for money Tuesday night. This pleased neither the staff nor the professional strippers.

The club asked her to leave, but Behnke refused. She then got into arguments with the dancers.

Staffers were forced to call police, who removed her from the club at 11:50 p.m. and charged her with "disorderly intoxication."

Behnke showed up in court yesterday, pleaded no contest, and was slapped with a $450 fine. If you're losing money by taking off your clothes, you're doing something wrong.

Behnke isn't new to the criminal justice system. After numerous arrests as a minor, she has been collared five times this year for charges ranging from driving with a suspended license to larceny. Previous arrests identify her as "homeless."

no one should be taking sides for this story unless they know her background. you don't know the chances she's been given. people say they feel bad for the homeless, but they ended up that way somehow, and if they were decent people they'd probably be able to help themselves. especially a pretty young girl like this. sure theres exceptions, but for the most part, its their own fault. and notice she's had many previous arrests- chances are you should not feel bad for this girl.

The humor isn't in her actions as much as it is in the actions of the club staff. Why did they let it go so far? It appears that there were a few opportunities prior to her stripping and arguing with the dancers where the staff could have asked her to leave. Only in FL!

Funny that this is EXACTLY the women that Jesus hung out with in the Bible, and told off everyone who said he was wrong.

I love that nobody has compassion. How bad would you life have to be to be homeless and willing to try to strip for a few dollars when you knew the chance of getting caught were high. It's obvious life is really hard for her, instead everyone makes nasty comments. This is the kind of person who needs kindness and help from the community. Instead we all discuss how funny it is. She probably needs food, a safe place to sleep, and mental services.

I have compassion for the homeless ... in fact I gave so much money to one guy over a period of time, he high-fives me when he sees me. Whp I have no compassion for is banksters .. yet the 'taxpayers' who complain about the homeless never complain about banksters stealing billions and taking the world economy to the brink. It's sad.
