Is This the Miami Marlins Uniform Jose Reyes and Albert Pujols Will Wear Next Year? UPDATED

The Marlins will officially unveil their new logo and uniforms tonight at 9. (That they didn't hold the event at 11:11 this morning seems like a loss, but oh well.) The logo and alleged mockups of the uniforms have already leaked, but Uni-Watch apparently has the first actual picture of the Fish's home uniform. Will this be what Jose Reyes and Albert Pujols will wear next year?

Update: A tipster has sent us the first picture of Emilio Bonifacio and Omar Infante in the new Marlins gear.

The picture looks pretty similar to the mockup of the white home uniform that leaked earlier this week, though it doesn't include the orange undershirt or belt. It's hard to tell due to the quality of the picture, but that does still appear to be orange accents around the sleeves and collar.

Of course, the more important speculation about the Marlins right now is not what these uniforms will actually look like but who will be wearing them.

Mets shortstop Jose Reyes's move to Miami seems like it's all but a done deal despite the fact that the team's current star, Hanley Ramirez, already plays shortstop. Reyes had trouble with injuries last year but did manage to lead the league in batting.

Fresh off a World Series win with the Cards, Albert Pujols is also expected to meet with the Marlins this weekend.

Watch out, Heat -- you might not be the only multisuperstar team in town.

I didn't know that the marlins were such big supporters of gay pride. The new uniforms look like the gay pride rainbows, I'm surprised there isn't a unicorn on the uniform somewhere.

As I have stated before, the new Marlins logo and uniforms look like something some pint sized gay assed hebe thought up and just like this whole fiasco it will turn out to be an epic failure, and very justly so.
