Miami Marlins Day-Glo Orange Uniforms Have Leaked

The Marlins don't officially reveal the full details of their branding makeover until Friday, but on the heels of the leak of the new logo and hats, it appears that details of the new uniform have also found their way online early. And if they're accurate, you can say goodbye to teal, and hello to ...orange?

Here's the mock-ups of the new uniforms obtained by MarlinManiac.com from an unnamed source:

Orange you glad to see these? The color is already an official jersey color for the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes.

It's also ironic that the Marlins played in a stadium with orange seats for their entire existence, and only decided to embrace the color on their move to a stadium with blue seats (which just so happens to sit on the grave of the Orange Bowl).

The "grave of the Orange Bowl" is pretty apt, but I have some better terms to describe the location:

"Yet another fleecing of Miami taxpayers""Yet another example that Miami doesn't value its history""Yet another reason why you can't feel too bad for Joe Sanchez's cruiser being covered in shit"

but mostly, I would label all this "yet another day in this beautiful city"

The main point is Jeffrey Loria the owner of the Marlins is in the process of stealing over $3 BIL from Miami-Dade County taxpayers. That jerk Loria bribed the commissioners to give him a new baseball stadium on the grave of the Orange Bowl.

I'm having visions of the Astrodome Astro jerseys that were worn out of sheer irony. I really don't understand the south Miami culture if orange and yellow are the main team colors. Their brand wasn't what needed fixing. Let a new stadium and some player upgrades do what these uniforms are desperately trying to do.

THOSE AREN'T REAL! They are some poster on a message board's (sportslogos.net) own design, yet that hasn't stopped every blog on the Internet from deciding to claim that they have been leaked. In fact, the poster's name "Robbman" is on the jersey!
