Jeffrey Brown, a 19-year-old former redshirt freshman defensive lineman with the Miami Hurricanes, has accepted a plea deal in a case involving his alleged rape of a female University of Miami student in a dorm room. As part of the deal Brown will face no prison time and will not have a felony on his record.

Back in May, it's alleged that Brown agreed to help a drunk female student who had thrown up in his bathroom. Brown lead her back to her own dorm room, but then allegedly forced himself atop of her. He was originally charged with sexual battery of a helpless victim, but the charge has been reduced to false imprisonment as part of the deal. He pleaded no contest to those charges today.

Brown had admitted the attack to investigators.

According to The Miami Herald, Brown will now serve a three-year probation sentence. He will have to complete 100 hours of community service back in his native state of Illinois, and will also take therapy sessions for sex offenders.

Brown, who never played with the 'Canes, was removed from the team shortly after his arrest.
