Miami Prison Employee Pleads Guilty to Gay Sex With Inmates

• The jail guard probably has a fetish for prisoners so he can feel more powerful than his job already makes him.

• It may be consensual, but is highly specios as a defense because of the power and authority the jail guard has over one of his prisoners.

• Ok, now if it was consensual, I don't see why.  Now if it wasn't then that's another thing.  Its just like when both are 17 yet one turns 18 in a month and the parents want to charge them with rape, when the parent knows all along they were having sex.  Thats completly wrong.  I say also if the parents knew the whole time and just because they got mad at him for something charged him with rape then the parent/parents should be held accountable as well.

• Soooo... He's fucking inmates so rather than pay him like 35k a year, tax dollars going to private prisons are going to amount to roughly 50k yearly for him to do the exact same thing? Wtf?!?!

• I wonder where the prison internal security was during all this?  "Nearly a year long" and SIS had no clue and let an inmate be "abused" for that period of time?  Sounds like SIS fell down on the job or was complicit or trying to cover it up.  People are watching you FCI Miami.

According to federal law, all sexual relations between staff and inmates are considered abuse. Even if a sexual act would have been considered consensual if it occurred outside of a prison, by statute it is criminal sexual abuse when it occurs inside a prison." So by the legal standards it was abuse.
