Jackie Gleason's Former Home Just Outside of Hialeah Hits the Auction Block
Gleason, famous for his role on The Honeymooners, relocated his variety show, The Jackie Gleason Show, to Miami Beach in 1964. A year later he had this 9,250-square-foot pad built for him in the census-designated area of Country Club. The home takes up three lots right along a golf course, and includes a large guest house that played host to some of Gleason's famous guests.
While not as architecturally stunning as "The Jackie Gleason House" in Miami Beach, nor his former chapeau in Peekskill, the home is still a nice representation of mid-century Florida architecture. But don't take our words for it. See for yourself.
And away we go!
