How is she being a bitch? She was confronted by someone with a loaded gun and was able to calmly resolve the situation. The fact that people are sympathizing a person who tries to commit a crime is just absolutely ridiculous, Florida has a "Stand Your Ground Act", he could have easily been shot and killed just for pulling a gun on someone; regardless if it is full of "BB's" or not, if the victim feels threatened for their life they have the right to kill their aggressor. What she did does not at all merit her to scrutiny, only ignorance would suggest otherwise.

Wy is it necessary to say "loaded" gun? You never see "sharpened" knife or "tinted" sunglasses in an article.

Just because she turned him in doesn't mean she doesn't have compassion for the boy.  If she just lets him go without calling the police whose to say he doesn't try it again somewhere else and actually kill somebody?  Plus how do you think he'll react when he finds out that they aren't going to hire him?

Good job she used her brain and saw this was a situation she could handle. Anyone that says she was unsafe or anything, she was being robbed she was already in the danger zone. Remember that video of the cop in the 2nd grade class that shot him self in the foot, and the little girl that got tased for breaking a car window to save a dog. Sometime the police cant handle a situation as fluidly, give her a break. 

I wondered if anyone would think she was wrong but I didn't think everyone would. The hugging and smoking a cigarette together is where it gets weird for me. BUT, how about this? Don't go in and point guns at people and think that they are your friend because you put the gun away. Duh!

I guess it takes a little more compassion on the part of the employee to let the kid go (without taking responsibility for his actions). I think that there is no right or wrong decision, the employee just made a choice to teach the kid a lesson.
