Trayvon Martin: Miami Heat Pose in Hoodies

This is another example of TV media journalism (CBS,ABC,NBC) not reporting or releasing accurate information.  It is all about ratings and embellishing information to report to us.  It has only gotten worse since Obama has been in office.  I do not believe journalist any longer investigate, interpret, or communicate news accurately. Whatever happen to investigating tips, researching documents, and communicating it logically and interestingly so the public can understand.  News channels should provide  impartial news.  I thought journalism had ethics & defamation laws to abide.  It is IMPORTANT to serve the public with accurate information. There must be a change in how the news channels report information to the public.

And you all know if some black kid wearing a hoodie walked through any one of these player's gated communities they would be calling security so fast it would make your head spin. What a bunch of hipocrites

Okay everybody is making their comments so i guess once again i must say it does not matter what color either of their skin was this was in fact a case of racism they only asked him once what color the kid was... He made sure to point it out twice more!!! Then in that matter that doesnt even have to be said the fact of the matter is that when he called the police they asked if he was following and when he said yes they said not to that is the bottom of the line he should of took his ass somewhere and sat down let the police handle it!!! what happened after he reported it was no longer his buisness!!! So basically it seems as if he were looking for a reason to attack the kid!!! Wether the kid attacked him first or not that is a frightening situation had it been me i would have cut the man so therefore wether the kid attacked him or not it was his fault he should not have followed the kid as far as he did after the police told him not to!!! So quit taking the mans side becus he is jus as guilty as anyone else in prison he should not have shot that kid!!! So a child instantly becomes suspicious because he goes out in the rain wearing a hoodie and because he was black and was carrying skittles!!! Come the fuck on now and he feels no remorse behind it that tells that there was some hatred there!!! Zimmerman clearly needs to be arrested!!!

Please STOP jumping on the bandwagon and realize that we DO NOT know the facts of what happened that night!We are being exactly the opposite of what the our Fathers founded this country upon. SHAME!The media has crucified Zimmerman.1) It was dark out there. How would one know if the kid didn't have a weapon on him? 2) What if Trayvon was the one that broke into the house sometime before? If he wasn't from that neighborhood, he had no reason to be walking around there. Yes, people like running around in pretty areas, but that's what parks are for. If I go out running aside from my neigborhood I run in another neighborhood's parks, not the streets. And that's also because I wouldn't know the area well.Look, we don't know what happened. This has turned into a racial issue because african american people always cry RACIST when a crime happens against them by a person that isn't their race. GET OVER THE WHOLE RACIST THING! That was quite a few decades ago.If Zimmerman described him as black, it was because he was describing the kid. It's like calling an anglo, a gringo. Or a light skinned person with light hair and eyes a "guero" or a "guera". You aren't being rascist. You are describing someone from another race. A hispanic wouldn't say "f*ck*ng hispanic" to another hispanic. He'd say, "f*ck*ng gordo (fat man)" or "pinche pelon*.Obama did so much wrong by saying that whole son thing. Yes, it was a tragedy. But POTUS shouldn't have declared an opinion on this because we do not know the facts only what the media has glamorized. Knuckleheads. I hope the best for BOTH families.

i support this cause emphatically it saddens me to my core that such a young soul had to pay for a persons ignorant ideas.The clothes dont make the man or person and on that night this man decided that for wearing a hoody that according to Giraldo is of african american attire.Wrrroooonnngggg I am an american born and raised daughter to latin parents and wear hoodies myself and i cant be more white in skin color cause then ide be translucent and that does not make it african american attire it is just an article of clothing.I hope this man pays his do"s by serving jail time although it will not bring back that young soul it will hopefully show that their is some justice.I cannot begin to imagine how his family and close friends could feel but if they read this know you are not alone in this most of the individuals who have heard about this outrageous crime are 100 percent behind you guys and together we stand strong.Justice will be served and he will meet his maker.God bless you.

I'm waiting for the facts to come out on this one...the Internet is prone to false hypes. Sad guy died after one shot...but he was on 10 day school suspension and the shooter didn't shoot him a dozen times. Seems like you shoot once in self-defense....if it was offensive you'd keep on shooting. Just a thought. Let's get ALL the facts out.

I think it's a brilliant and courageous act for The Heat players to pose in the hoodies. This picture will bring much more needed attention to the horrific act perpetrated by Zimmerman, as well as the insane law that allowed him to do it.
