The Marlins Home Plate Aquarium Gets Its First Fish

The deal to finance the new Marlins stadium isn't the only thing fishy about the place. The giant aquarium behind home plate has been populated by its first fishy resident. Check out video bellow.

How does it make you feel that this stupid fish will have better seats to every Marlins home game than you? Do fish even understand baseball?

The two giant aquariums constitute perhaps the most unique home plate backstop of any MLB stadium. The right tank measures 34 feet long, while the one to the left measures 24 feet long. Together they hold about 1,150 gallons of water.

In case you're wondering, the tanks are coated with a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic that will ensure no wild balls break the glass causing those 1,150 gallons of water to pour out onto the field.

World class corruption

The taxpayers pay over 100% of the cost of the new stadium ($3+ BILLION) garage and the Marlins keep 100% of all ticket sales.

Only in Miami do voters elect such corrupt and/or stupid people as Carlos Alvarez, Manny Diaz and Bruno Barrerio.

80+ years of bond payments

The Canadian owned Marlins suck. Who wants to pay $200 to sit in the stadium the taxpayers will spend 80 years paying off?

Rip Off Prices

Even though the Marlins got the stupid elected officials to pay for their stadium the Marlins still make the sucker taxpayers buy 10 tickets at a time.

Hot dogs will cost $12 and the parking will cost at least $20 to $25.

Disgraced ex-Mayor Manny Diaz and fired ex-CFO Larry Spring helped the Marlins steal $3 BILLION.

Another scandal

2+ million taxpayers are paying for the Marlins Stadium and Garage yet very few will be able to afford 2 $60 tickets and 2 $12 hot dogs and $20 parking.

$3 Bil diverted

The SEC is investigating who lied to who and when.

Over $3 Bil was stolen.

Scam

Scam. The stupid elected officials of Miami-Dade County (Bruno Barrerio, Dennis Moss, Joe Martinez..,) and the idiots at the City of Miami (Manny Diaz, Marc Sarnoff..,) voted to give over $3 BILLION taxpayer dollars to the privately owned Marlins.

Investigation is needed.
