TSA Employees Trash South Beach Hotel Room, Shoot Guns in Air

Two Transportation Security Administration officers are under arrest after trashing a South Beach hotel room last night and then shooting off guns into the air. The shots first rang out at about 11:15 last night near a hotel on the 800 block of Collins Avenue.

The Miami Herald reports that police arrived to find shell casings scattered on the ground, and after calling out the SWAT team and talking to witnesses quickly deduced that the shooter was in the hotel. They then arrived at the hotel room of Jeffrey Piccolella and Nicholas Anthony Puccio only to find the room trashed and the pair apparently drunk.

Both men are employed by the Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration.

Police found a gun in the room, and one of the men admitted to being drunk.

They've both been arrested for criminal mischief and firing a gun while intoxicated.

Why is it everytime TSA has an issue with the way someones personal life outside of work is unfavoritable. People always want to blame the Agency. TSA is not the bad guy, so you stupid people stop making comments about TSA and make them about the individual. I have heard of a in flight incident since TSA took over Airport Screening. Making comparisions to Police and Child Molesters etc. is not all TSA employees and it's not only happing with TSA/DHS. I guess everybody else gets a free pass. America Grow Up! STUPID

this is in addition to the arrest of a TSA manager for running a prostitution ring in baltimore. last week it was two other tsa folks arrested one for heroin the other kiddie porn! it is time to shut down the radioactive naked body scanners put away the fake wanna be cop uniforms and close the TSA!

Just consider the type of person who applies for a job frisking children or looking at naked body scans all day. Do you really feel safer, or more violated?

it is not just a few TSA thugs! you can look at the weekly totals of TSA employees being arrested! if you think the TSA is anything more then a government jobs programs for hamburger flipping rejects you are silly! the fact that they violate peoples civil rights and health that is just an added bonus!
