Expect an Even Rainier Than Normal Summer in Miami
![]() |
Reports the Miami Herald:
Robert Molleda, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service's Miami office, said a number of indicators, including the easing of the global La NiƱa weather pattern, point to a wetter season into June. The remaining months appear likely to be close to average.Lake Okeechobee, is about two feet below what it normally is (yes, even with the weekend's full-out Rainpocalypse), so this is good news for Ol' Okeechobee and the Everglades. Let's try and be happy for them and other environmental concerns. Good for you guys!
For us humans that means its probably time to start shopping for umbrellas and rain boots. And try to get your beach time in now.
This weekend is expected to be nice, at least.
