Florida Girl Arrested for Pouring Milk on Man Who Started "Choke!" Chant While She Was Choking

Just about the most inappropriate thing to do when you see someone choking on food is to start chanting, "Choke! Choke! Choke!" It may not be very civil, but it isn't illegal. Hitting a man for chanting "Choke!" and pouring a jug of milk on his head is apparently illegal, however, in Okaloosa County.

According to the Northwest Florida Daily News, a juvenile girl was on break time from her job and took the opportunity to chow down on some granola. Unfortunately, the granola didn't go down as planned and the girl started choking.

A male co-worker began the "Choke! Choke! Choke!" chant instead of, you know, getting her a glass of water or something.

In an action that we can totally understand but apparently the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office cannot, the girl stood up and hit the jerky coworker in the shoulder before pouring her milk on top of his head.

The girl was arrested. The jerk remains free. No word on whether any tears were shed over the spilled milk.
