Mitt Romney Likes Rick Scott's Controversial Drug Testing Laws

Mitt Romney may preach smaller government, but he doesn't mind the government getting all up in your body fluids. The Republican presidential candidate said today that he "doesn't disagree" with Florida Governor Rick Scott's controversial plan to drug test state workers.

Romney told a MyFoxTampa reporter while swinging through the state he thinks Scott's plan should move forward.

"The states have rights under their constitution to do what they think is best. The governor here is trying an idea, and I'm not going to disagree with Governor Scott. The idea of people being tested is something, which, we'll see what the results are," Romney said.

Of course, there are already some results to look at. Scott issued an executive order that authorized random drug testing of 80,000 workers employed by the state. The order was deemed unconstitutional by a federal judge who had been appointed by President George H.W. Bush. The judge found that it violated the Fourth Amendment that bars unreasonable searches and seizures.

So, basically Mitt Romney is saying he doesn't mind laws that violate the constitution of the United States of America.

Romney may not want to tie himself too closely to Scott's agenda anyhow. The Governor remains one of the most unpopular in the country.

This is the same party that supposedly Brags about government being "TO BIG" . The party mostly known for being racist, the party Known for screwing the poor and the middle class, the party known for screwing women, the party known for screwing our planet, the party known for creating unnecessary wars, the party known  for basically screwing everyone who is not Racist, Rich,an Anti Abortion Lunatic or Hypocritical Christian. Why would anyone unless you are either a Member of the Ku Klux Klan, an ANti Abortion lunatic, a Rich scumbag, or a supposed Christian vote for this party is beyond any logic. Now if you are any one of the folks i just mentioned then i understand and of course it would be logical to vote republican.

No surprise there.  Mitt does like to take the piss out of people.  Well, if they're poor, middle class or gay.

My problem with the current incarnation of the Republican party is this contradiction. They say they want everyone to be free to enjoy the blessings of liberty, but only if you enjoy those blessings in exactly the same way that the majority of their party does. What they want is to minimize government for business and create "Big Brother" for our personal lives.
