Miamians Love to Tweet About Beer; the Rest of Florida Tweets About Church
In what could have been a stupid idea but actually turned out pretty illuminating (especially from Florida's point of view), Floating Sheep mapped each county in the United States by how often its residents tweet about beer compared with how often they tweet about church. Miami-Dade, unsurprisingly, came in strongly on the beer side of the spectrum. The majority of Florida (including Broward and Palm Beach), meanwhile, likes to tweet about church much more. Here's the nationwide breakdown from Floating Sheep. Beer-tweeting counties are blue; churchies are in red.

Yep, we're a bunch of Homer Simpsons in a Ned Flanders state. Someone pass us a Duff.
Floating Sheep notes the map does have a correlation to political red and blue states. So we're actually surprised to see our South Florida brethren in Palm Beach and Broward deep in the red when, technically, they're actually more liberal than we are.
