Chad Johnson Breaks Twitter Silence, Admits He "Messed Up"

Chad Johnson's usually overactive Twitter account has been pretty quiet ever since his August 11 arrest on domestic violence charges. Mostly he's retweeted a few things and talked about his children. But Johnson returned to Twitter this afternoon, admitted he "messed up," and finally realized he was no longer an NFL star in one of the saddest ways possible.

After a few basic Tweets and replies to followers, Johnson sent out this sort of pathetic missive:

Apparently, the idea of having to create himself digitally, made him realize that he's going to have to recreate himself in real life.

Ocho then followed it up telling anyone who feels bad for him to not worry and admitted that he "messed up."

Handling the situation on Twitter with a bit of class certainly doesn't make up for what he did, but at least he's admitting his mistakes and not going the Chris Brown route.
