Osama's Translator, Locked Up in Gitmo, Says LeBron James Is a "Very Bad Man"
Carlos Warner, Rahim's lawyer, recently shared the note with The Washington Post.
"Dear Mr. Warner!" the Al Qaeda member wrote. "Lebron James is very bad man. He should apologise to the city of Cleveland."
Warner says that his LeBron-hate stems from Rahim's tribal values which place faith on loyalty and his views that "betrayals are not tolerated or forgiven, although an honest apology from an offending peer is valued."
Or perhaps Rahim is just a savvy client trying to get on his lawyer's good side. Warner, like James, is a native of Akron, Ohio.
In another note, Rahim complained that another inmate had been given a pet cat as a reward.
"Dear Mr. Warner -- Majid Khan has a cat."
Warner believes that giving kittens to cooperative inmates is just one of many problems at Gitmo. Neither Khan's lawyer nor the Department of Justice would confirm or deny that he had a cat.
