University of Florida Ranked Playboy's Third Top Party School; University of Miami Left Out
![]() |
This is University of Miami's second year off the list. After appearing at number one in 2009, it appeared at number four the following year before dropping off last year.
This year, the University of Florida makes a dramatic return to the list at number three. Florida's only representative on the list last year, the University of Central Florida, is nowhere to be seen.
Playboy says its considered three factors in determining the list this year: sex, nightlife and sports. Apparently Playboy has determined that the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Ivy Leaguer UPenn, Northwestern and the, uh, Stevens Institute of Technology have better nightlife scene. That's according to their "best of the rest" list of best nightlife schools.
So, yes, the Stevens Institute of Technology, located in Hoboken, New Jersey, has a better nightlife scene to party in than the University of Miami. This is Playboy science folks, you can't argue with that. Clearly every thing in that magazine is real and completely untouched.
