A fight broke out among partiers leaving CocoWalk last night.
With crisp autumn weather and no rain in sight, thousands of costumed revelers packed the street party on CocoWalk in Coconut Grove last night. Amidst all the drunken, blood-soaked zombies, though, a very real bloodbath broke out around 3 a.m. last night.

After a fight erupted among partiers leaving CocoWalk, four men were stabbed, police say. Three were taken in critical condition to the Ryder Trauma Center.

Update: Police have identified the suspect in the stabbings: 21-year-old Anevri Moreira.

Details are still sketchy about what caused the fight. (Riptide has left a message with a Miami Police Department spokesman seeking more information).

But CBS4 reports that the mass stabbing started around 3 a.m. as partiers streamed out of the CocoWalk. A fight started along Grand Avenue, and then, as the brawl reached 32nd Avenue, someone pulled out a knife and started slashing.

All four men were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital, with three in critical condition. One man went into cardiac arrest, and had to be resuscitated, The Miami Herald reports.

"Right now, detectives have very little information as to why the actual argument took place," Sgt. Kenia Reyes, an MPD spokeswoman, told a crowd of reporters.

Police have recovered the knife used in the stabbings, though, and have one man in custody, CBS4 reports.

Video shows a chaotic-looking aftermath from the fight, with bloody clothing strewn around the street along Grand Avenue.

Update: Police say 21-year-old Anevri Moreira has been charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder after witnesses described him as the attacker.

Moreira has a number of criminal charges on his rap sheet, including battery and burglary in 2008, multiple charges of marijuana possession, loitering in 2009, resisting an officer with violence and disorderly intoxication in 2010 and falsely reporting a crime earlier this year.

He was convicted of a felony in the 2010 case and acquitted by a jury of his most recent charge.

Police still have not released any information on the stabbing victims in last night's assault.

Horrible:((( but The grove is not ghetto :(! It is full of families with children -the problem is the college crowd and those from surrounding areas coming in on a night like this and not being able to handle their drink!

This is exactly why I told my Gf not to go to the grove last night. Too many idiot kids looking for trouble. I run the door of a south beach club and we had zero problems all night.

Actually, the whole mess ended at 32nd Avenue, near the little shopping center that contains CVS / Bank of America
