Is This The Most Horrifically Over Photoshopped South Florida Magazine Cover Ever?

We were just over at the closest super market to our office trying to pick up a snack, but ended up too horrified to eat when we got a glimpse of the magazine rack. Hold back on the photoshop Simply The Best magazine, because whatever you're doing is downright disturbing.

Simply The Best is a Boca Raton-based luxury rag that claims it "reaches South Florida's most affluent residents from Vero Beach to Miami Beach." This is their latest cover:

Is that supposed to be a human on the cover? Is that some sort of real doll type thing? A CGI animation? It can't be a drag queen, because even they look more natural than that.

Ah, indeed, the mag credits the model as Next Models Miami's Camille Opp, and while on the cover she may look like a 45 year-old who just left a Boca plastic surgeons office, her official online portfolio makes her look like she's a high school freshman.

This is apparently the same person:

So, is this the most horrifically over-photoshopped South Florida magazine cover ever?

Depends on what you think of Simply The Best's other covers.

Here's model Daniela Lopez on the previous cover of STB:

Here she is in another recent magazine:

Yet another recent cover:

And the same model from another source:

And the trend continues for literally every cover this magazine has put out. This cover model isn't listed correctly within the magazine, but we can't imagine she looks anything like this in real life. Humans just do not look like this:

So, seriously STB, stop turning naturally pretty young girls into horrifying real dolls that look like they're modeled after over-botoxed  40 year-olds. That may indeed be the market for a Boca-based magazine, but this is just not right.

I would not normally take the time to comment, but I was actually disturbed by this article. There are a few critical things that are being missed in this piece of absolutely horrific journalism written by a biased person, who is overall uneducated about the topic of choice. I have had the honor of knowing two of the young ladies mentioned in the article. They are kind and beautiful individuals. The first overwhelming hole in Mr. Munzenreider's assessment is in his comparison photos. Camille Opp's magazine shot is recent, while the second is most likely 2-3 years old. So yes a picture from when a girl was 12 is going to show a stark contrast to her at 15. Good job for showing readers the effects of human biology and puberty. Also props on the in depth research. To shed a little more light this is actually what these girls look like with makeup on. I ask the semi-intelligent to ponder the shocking difference in their close peers when wearing and not wearing makeup. This effect will only be multiplied when applied to beautiful young models. The nature of a picture is to capture a moment selectively, so therefore there is usually some type of small editing. This is the fashion industry, not a Facebook profile. Moreover I would like you to ponder the goal and actual result of this piece of work. The person who most objectified these "pretty young girls", is you Kyle. Also I'm sure you have the same distressed view point when looking at the half naked models draped across Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Congratulations on perpetuating ignorance and hypocrisy.

There's way too much emphasis on the makeup these days. No wonder women are flocking to plastic surgery and the like, trying to chase the false beauty that is held out in front of them as being desireable. Take it down a notch...or three...

major creepfest! that is what they're trying to do and it's heinous. You hit the nail on the head perfectly. I want to save this for whenever I think something needs to be lifted along with pics of Micky Rourke and a few other hollywood celebs [actually a couple dozen]
