WSVN Reporter Has a Hard Time Telling Black People Apart at Obama Victory Rally (Video)

WSVN has some rather ambitious coverage of the election last night for a local channel. They even sent reporter Blake Burman to the Obama rally in Chicago. Unfortunately there was a bit of awkwardness when WSVN cut to Burman solely because he was standing in the vicinity of a famous black person being interviewed by someone else. Embarrassingly, Burman could not figure out who that famous black person was for the life of him.

Hmm, who is that famous black person? Is it Wyclef Jean? No. Maybe Wale? Is he even still relevant enough to be at an event like this? Rick Ross? Wait, no, he's fat. One of the non-Beyonce members of Destiny's Child? No, they were all women, weren't they? Bill Cosby? Well, that's a crazy sweater, but not Cosby crazy. LeBron James? Too short. Cornel West? Probably not. Lady Gaga? Wait, she's not even black.

Oh! It's Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas!

Simple mistake. Could happen to any of us.
