Bill Nelson Named One of the Top Ten "Bad Ass" Politicians

Our own Senator Spacesnakes is apparently one of the biggest bad asses in all of Washington D.C. He's been named by U.S. News and World Reports as one of the top ten "toughest" politicians in America.
US News gives Nelson props for going out on the python hunt in the Everglades last month.
Earlier this month, the former astronaut spent hours trying to hunt them down--all while armed with handguns, machetes and five airboats, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Nelson didn't get any snakes on hunting day, but he has asked the public to continue where he left off, with a "Python Challenge" that encourages Floridians to hunt and turn in the dead snakes.
On Inauguration Day, Nelson beat off the cold by wearing a hot orange baseball cap with a camouflage visor, which his spokesperson told the Times he uses for quail hunting.Granted, naming a guy to your tough list who couldn't even kill any snakes, doesn't make politicians sound very tough. Then again, it's not like Marco Rubio even tried to kill any snakes.
We should also note than Nelson is now 70, and still trucking along fending off snakes and (more successfully) any Republican who has tried to take his Senate seat away from him.
