Rick Scott is angry
Rick Scott has balls. Giant, hairless, Republican balls. Remember when he told a crowd of black legislators that he understood them because he "grew up in the same situation as you guys" and also "started school in public housing"?

Well, our state governor has done it again by inviting Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano to Miami just to check out how crappy a job her employees are doing.

In a letter "welcoming" Napolitano to Florida, Scott blasts the Customs and Border Protection agents at Miami International Airport, calling the airport "chaotic" and "not adequately staffed."

This might be the first time since his election in 2010 that most Miamians agree with their governor.

Back in September, Scott wrote Napolitano to relay constituents' complaints of long delays in MIA's customs and passport lines.

Today he released another, similar letter timed to coincided with Napolitano's visit to MIA:
CBP has not been able to meet the necessary staffing numbers in the new facility. As a result, customers, often numbering well over 1,000 daily, and their baggage are misconnected and must be re-booked on later flights, many leaving the next day.

This problem could potentially do considerable damage to Florida's international competitiveness, which could adversely affect job creation in our state.
