There is a Florida tie: A Jacksonville man snapped the best photo taken of the surviving suspect in the moments after the bomb. David Green gave the FBI key photos that helped authorities ID 19-year-old Dzhokar Tsnarnaev.
Details are still sketchy about exactly what's happened with Tsarnaev and his brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, since late last night.
But the brother's final standoff with police apparently began just before 11 p.m. last night, when gunfire erupted outside the Stata building on MIT's campus. The brothers, who apparently were confronted by a campus officer after robbing a 7-Eleven, killed the cop, then carjacked an SUV.
Around 2 a.m., police got into a fierce gun battle with the brothers, and Tamerlan was killed (possibly in part by an explosive device he may have had with him.) Dzhokar remains on the loose, with Boston's Watertown neighborhood on lockdown.
Green, the CEO of a Jacksonville sportsware company called 110%, played a key role before the manhunt began.
He'd been in Boston for an expo and to watch some employees run in the marathon, and witnessed the bombs explode from a distance. Before running to help, he snapped a quick photo of the fleeing crowd and posted it to his Facebook:

The photo went viral, and around 9 p.m. last night, Green took to Facebook to announce that federal agents had visited him to get the picture and confirmed that it showed the clearest shot yet of "suspect No. 2," the man now identified as Dzhokar Tsarnaev:

Friends & Family,This morning, Green's been making the rounds, appearing on CNN and the Today show as police keep hunting for the man in the white hat. Much of Boston remains shut down as soldiers and cops sweep houses for bombs and Tsnarnaev:
I have been feeling down since the Boston Marathon bombing because I couldn't do anything to help the injured victims...until now. Thanks to my friend Jason who pointed out to me that the photo I took right after the second bomb and posted on FB has suspect #2 in the left hand corner of the photo. White baseball cap turned backwards, black sweatshirt, NO BACKPACK right after the bomb went off. Compare to the ones posted by CNN, it is unmistakable. I spoke to the FBI and it is may be the best photo they have at current time!!! One step closer to taking these @!#?#'s down...share as much as you can so that if someone knows this person they can turn them in.
