Heat Take Commanding 3-0 Series Lead on Bucks With 104-91 Victory in Milwaukee

Categories: Sports

The Miami Heat overcame a dismal first half Thursday night to defeat Milwaukee 104-91 to take a commanding 3-0 lead in this best of four series. Ray Allen came off the bench to score 23 points, hitting five of eight threes, while LeBron James finished with 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Chris Bosh chipped in 16 points and 14 rebounds, and Miami outscored the Bucks 56-41 in the second half to pull away.

In the game Ray Allen became the all-time leading three point shooter in NBA Playoff history, passing Reggie Miller. Ray has really stepped up his game thus far in the playoffs, scoring 20-plus for the second time versus Milwaukee.

Dwyane Wade was not mentioned above because above is where good things go, you see. Wade played his worst playoff game ever on Thursday, and possibly his worst game ever. Wade finished 1-12 from the floor for four points while also turning the ball over six times. Wade did however finish with nine rebounds, five steals and 11 assists, which almost makes shit weirder. If Wade has anything close to a decent game shooting his stat line looks amazing, but he didn't, and you know that because I just told you he didn't. He didn't. At all.

Caaaawww Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwww!!! Birdman finished 5-5 from the field for 11 points to go along with 6 rebounds in just 14 minutes of play. This concludes your Birdman was the titties paragraph. Titties.

In the loss, Brandon Jennings and Monte Ellis combined to go 1-13 from three point land, seemingly never learning that there are other options besides throwing basketballs wildly at the points thing from far away. They played 76 combined minutes and buried exactly one three. Meanwhile five of their teammates scored in double figures in the loss. Not the smartest duo in the world.

The Milwaukee loss mathematically eliminates them from beating the Heat in six games as Brandon Jennings predicted. See video below for my reaction.

The series moves on to Game 4 in Milwaukee Sunday at 3:30 p.m. This is where Bambi gets off'd. On Sunday, the Miami Heat finish off the Bucks before dinner, get on a plane, and are home in time to catch Naked Castaway on Discovery. It's a wrap.
