Your social media feeds have probably been soaked full of complaints about the monsoons that decided to hit Miami today and on Saturday. LeBron James was no different. He Instagrammed pictures of flooding around his neighborhood, and the National Weather Service took note. They issued an official alert mentioning James.

Here are the photos James sent out:

As Yahoo! Sports pointed out, apparently someone at the NWS took notice and issued this official alert over the weekend through their Twitter:
PRELIMINARY LOCAL STORM REPORT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL
820 PM EDT SAT APR 13 2013
..TIME... ...EVENT... ...CITY LOCATION... ...LAT.LON...
..DATE... ....MAG.... ..COUNTY LOCATION..ST.. ...SOURCE....

04/13/2013 MIAMI-DADE FL PUBLIC
LEBRON JAMES, NUMBER 6 OF THE MIAMI HEAT, REPORTED
SIGNIFICANT STREET FLOODING IN THE CORAL GABLES AREA.
REPORT RELAYED THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA
As of yet, James hasn't mentioned anything on Twitter or Instagram about the bath the town is taking today. Hopefully the NWS figures it out without relying on an athlete's tweets.
