LeBron James Is Taking a Break from Twitter and Cell Phones During the Playoffs
In order to fully concentrate on the playoffs, James has gone off the grid.
Back on Saturday, James tweeted that he was "gone" and he hasn't updated since.
"I'm back before cell phones were invented," he elaborated last night. "I don't have a phone right now."

LeBron does have a sponsorship contract with smartphone makers Samsung. We wonder how they feel about his insinuation that cell phones are distractions?
Though, this is becoming something of a tradition, perhaps even a superstition, for James. He instituted a digital blackout during last year's playoffs and that resulted in his first championship ring.
We assume this also means he'll be off of Instagram for a while. We wonder how the National Weather Service is going to get their Miami flooding tips now.
Dwyane Wade's Twitter has also been radio silent since Saturday, but not everyone on the Heat is on board. Chris Bosh just tweeted this earnest selfie an hour ago. Miami New Times on Facebook and Twitter @MiamiNewTimes.
