George Zimmerman's Attorney Starts Murder Trial With a Knock-Knock Joke

omaraomara.jpg
Knock knock.

Who's there?

Ina!

Ina who?

Ina Propriate way to kick off perhaps the most controversial murder trial of the decade. Dude, seriously we're all embarrassed for you.

Yes, George Zimmerman's defense attorney, Don West, began his opening statement today with an actual knock-knock joke.

Here's the thing about jokes: If you have to preface them beforehand, they're usually not funny. If your audience doesn't laugh, you probably shouldn't act shocked either. West comes off as almost chiding the jurors because they didn't chuckle at the actual knock-knock joke he used to start off the defense of a man accused of killing an unarmed teenager.

If it's true that "sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying," we almost hope Zimmerman himself is laughing over the fact that this is the dude he's hired to defend him in a court of law. Because right now, we'd be crying.

The prosecution looks, like they're going to vomit.

Mr West probably did this because he's laughing to the bank off all the SUCKERS donating to the paypal defense fund. Bye Bye, Georgie

He might get off ? Casey Anthony, even Jodie Arias is getting special considerations. Those were slam dunks, easy to call. Arias is guilty, but it almost seems one of her personalities might make for an upstanding citizen. Almost as if they want her to live out her life in prison. Ugly people, they get terminated quickly. Z-man is no OJ Simpson.

george has some verbal altercation, panics and shoots Trayvon Martin, then cuts his own head to fake an attack.  George Zimmerman’s head wound was self inflicted after he shot Trayvon Martin to cover?

“According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.

The dispatcher asked Zimmerman if he was following him. When Zimmerman answered, "yeah," the dispatcher said, "We don't need you to do that." Zimmerman responded, "Okay

Logic dictates that the person WITHOUT the gun is more likely the one who would be calling for help” Why would the armed person be screaming and yelling "I'm begging you"? Sounds more like something an unarmed person would do when a gun is pointed at them!!

Zimmerman says Martin had been on top of him, slamming his head against the ground and smothering his mouth and nose with his hand and arm when he grabbed his gun from a holster on his waist before Martin could get it. He shot the teenager once in the chest.Trayvon Martin's DNA Not Found On George Zimmerman's Gun George Zimmerman's was the only DNA that could be identified on the grip of the gun used to fatally shoot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin

His story makes no sense. His mouth and nose were being smothered, yet you don't here any muffled or interrupted screams on the 911 call. If Martin was smothering his "bloody face" then why was there none of Zimmerman's DNA on Martin's hands? His story doesn't begin to add up.

Ru Ru, You might be confused as to who the "thug" is here. Only one of the two had a criminal record and a history of violence. Guess what? It wasn't the one with the Skittles.

"... then cuts his own head to fake an attack..."

----------  --------------  -------------  --------------  -------------

Yeah right. He did that.

That's exactly what all the witnesses declared in their statements, right?  They heard the shot and then saw Zimmerman hitting his own nose and wounding the back of his own head.

Easy case. Next!

@drakemallard Where did you read that his wounds were self inflicted? The back of his head was bashed the fuck in by FORCE, and his nose was broken. The back of Zimmerman's shirt was wet from the grass because he was on his back while Treyvon was slamming his head into the concrete.

The dispatcher has ZERO authority, and telling Zimmerman to stay in his vehicle doesn't mean a damn thing.  Even  if it did, saying "We don't need you to do that" is not the same thing as "No, do not engage him"

If you take the time to actually read what Florida law says, you'll get a big, disappointing surprise.

First, It is NOT illegal to follow someone, especially for a legitimate purpose like reporting suspicious activity to the police. (Statute 784.048)

Next, the law makes a clear point: it does not matter who started the confrontation. You have the right to use deadly force if "...the person reasonably believes that he or she is in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm..." (Statute 776.041)

Don't believe me. Just read what Florida law says.

Also, maybe you need to actually listen to Zimmerman's call to police instead of repeating what somebody else repeated before you. Just saying.

What's interesting is that George had no blood on him, even though he claimed Martin was on top of him when he shot him. I guess gravity was on vacation that night.

I only wish Trayvon had been armed and stood his ground from this thug.

George Zimmerman Deserves Jail Time For Lying About His Finances

jailhouse tapes of Zimmerman talking to his wife, Shelly, about the amount in his online defense fund. Ever since the judge ordered Zimmerman back to jail, donations to Zimmerman’s online defense fund have begun to significantly increase from the original $1,000 a day the fund was receiving.”

In hushed conversations from a Seminole County, Fla., jail, the man charged with second-degree murder in the killing of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin was instructing his wife how to transfer huge amounts of money between bank accounts and allegedly out of the gaze of local authorities.

The name “Peter Pan,” in this case, appears to have been code for the company PayPal. Zimmerman was using the online banking service to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars from supporters who believed he was either a hero of gun rights or a man being railroaded by a corrupt justice system.

Clumsy and obvious, the code was just one of several tactics that verged on the absurd that the Zimmermans used to try to keep their fundraising secret from authorities. The tactics were brought to light on Monday when prosecutors released audio recordings of six jailhouse phone calls between Zimmerman and his wife.

Because they lied under oath about finances, there is no reason to believe anything else they say.”

I never said it is legal to stalk someone.

First you need to understand what "stalking" is. Please read. It will not hurt you to read.

So it's legal to stalk someone, start a fight, and kill them when you lose the fight? Dayum... I won't be going on vacation in Florida again.
