Chris Bosh Maybe Selling His Miami Beach Mansion
Depending on which Bosh you ask, the Bosh family home may or may not be for sale. Chris Bosh told The Sun-Sentinel that he was planning to put his North Bay Road mansion on sale. His wife, Adrienne Bosh, took to Twitter last night to say that it wasn't listed.
@iraheatbeat I think u may have a misunderstanding on Ur hands. Our house is def not listed. We are in the middle of building a new nursery— Adrienne Bosh (@MrsAdrienneBosh) June 13, 2013
Chris Bosh bought the house in one of Miami Beach's most exclusive Real Estate rows back in 2010 for $12.5 million. He lives just down the street from team mate Dwyane Wade.
Bosh told reporters that he was planning to list the house and look for another because his wife is expecting a second child, but made clear that the move wasn't related to his basketball future.
"I'm in Miami for the rest of my career," he told the Sun-Sentinel. "I plan to be there. I plan to retire there. I plan to win hopefully a lot more championships there. So that's where home is."
Of course, smack in the middle of an NBA Finals is a really odd time to announce a major real estate move, and obviously people are making a big deal out of it.
Though, it's unlikely Bosh has been told he's being sent elsewhere next year. We highly doubt Pat Riley was like, "By the way we're trading your ass next year, so put the house up for sale," during the playoffs. Not exactly a great motivational tool.
Plus, let's remember back to 2011 when Mike Miller put his home on the market and ESPN spread rumors he wouldn't be with the Heat much longer. And yet here he is still on the team, still sinking three pointers.
