A 30-year-old autistic man in Sweetwater was living in a terrifying dungeon straight of Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, local police say.

According to the Miami Herald, Sweetwater police officers responded to a trailer at 11250 NW Third St. after receiving an anonymous tip about the man's "dungeon-like" living conditions early Thursday evening. With the aid of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, cops entered the trailer, owned by the man's mom Gladys Jaramillo, where they discovered him inside a small room with a mattress, a blacked-out window, and an iron door that only locked from the outside.

Sweetwater Police spokeswoman Michelle Hammontre-Garcia told the Herald that the dark room had no bathroom and reeked of urine and feces. Yikes!

Cops arrested the 56-year-old Jaramillo on charges of aggravated abuse, neglect on a mentally disabled adult and false imprisonment. According to police, Jaramillo told them she sedated her son and then left him locked in the room so she could go out with her boyfriend.

Her son, who has not been identified, was transported to Kendall Regional Medical Center to get treated for scratches and bruises. The tipster told cops that Jaramillo was always leaving her son alone for long periods of time.

Neighbors told the Herald that Jaramillo would go to to the Miccosukee casino on weekends and that one day her son was running around the trailer in just an adult diaper.
