In Florida, drugs are more likely than whales to beach themselves on our shores.

So it's not much of a surprise that police found 16 kilos of cocaine washed up on a St. Augustine Beach last night and are looking for more.

A beach patrol officer discovered bricks of cocaine totaling four kilos near A Street in Anastasia State Park this past Tuesday night. The St. Augustine Police Department called in a Drug Enforcement Administration unit, and the federal department located 12 more kilos scattered around the beach.

The DEA continues to investigate and search for more.

This is near the same area where 24 to 25 kilos washed up in early May. Feds aren't sure if the incidents are related.

A value hasn't been estimated for this latest haul, but the May discovery carried about a $7.5 million street value. So this batch is still worth millions of dollars.
