Marco Rubio Refuses to Answer Whether He's Smoked Pot

Have you said to yourself, Wow, I wonder if Marco Rubio has ever been stoned? Probably not, because, honestly, who cares?

The funny thing is that Rubio refuses to answer the question because he thinks people might actually care.

The Associated Press asked Rubio the pot question. Here's his response:

"If I tell you that I haven't, you won't believe me. And if I tell you that I did, then kids will look up to me and say, 'Well, I can smoke marijuana because look how he made it.'"

Which begs the question: How many kids out there are really looking up to Marco Rubio?

And how much would Rubio's admittance to smoking pot really influence them one way or another?

Dude, you're a junior senator from Florida, not everyone's personal moral compass. Get a grip on that ego.

President Obama has admitted to smoking pot and doing cocaine. President Bush wouldn't admit to either, but he probably did both. President Clinton famously "did not inhale."

It's pretty hard to find a prominent person from any walk of life who hasn't admitted to smoking pot. We're talking sports stars, business executives, authors, artists, doctors, lawyers, you name it.

Probably because smoking pot really doesn't have much of an effect on whether anyone is going to "make it."

The same Marco Rubio? That Talks Big but Fails to Deliver?

Spend thousands with GOP credit card

"Marco Rubio Lied About His Cuban Exile Immigrant Background"

as House speaker when he spent nearly $400,000 on office renovations.

Rubio's 2010 senate campaign was fined $8,000 by the Federal Elections Committee for receiving "prohibited, excessive and other impermissible contributions totaling $210,173.09."

Records show Rubio sent payments to American Express totaling $13,900 for his personal expenses during his tenure as House speaker. But those payments were not made monthly. He made no contributions to the bill during a six-month stretch in 2007, records show.

One committee paid relatives nearly $14,000 for what was incorrectly described to the IRS as "courier fees" and listed a nonexistent address for one of them. Another committee paid $5,700 to his wife, who was listed as the treasurer, much of it for "gas and meals."

Rubio's spending continued in 2005 when the Republican Party of Florida handed him a credit card to use at his own discretion. While serving as House speaker in 2007 and 2008, he charged thousands of dollars in restaurant tabs to the state party at the same time taxpayers were subsidizing his meals in Tallahassee.

Marco Rubio, was paying thousands to Bovo's firm absentee Helping Rubio cruise to a surprise win was a political consulting firm owned by Viviana Bovo, the wife of county Commissioner Esteban Bovo. She was paid $19,637 for "political strategy" and "consulting" by Rubio's campaign.

Will the Birthers Scrutinize Marco Rubio's U.S. Citizenship?

Rubio is a hypocrite he want his family to have health insurance but not the taxes payer. who pay his salary and health insurance the laugh is on the people who voted for him who might need and will benefit from the ACA.Poor Marco Rubio. He's only signing up for Obamacare and pocketing those ten grand because he's FORCED to, lol. What a terrible fate! Obamacare is worse than slavery, LOL

This is proof that the makers and the so called takers are the same people. These guys that claim that they are the makers are makers because they are taking from us takers so to speak. The Waltons make their money from the least of us or the so called takers. The Rubio's of the world take advantage of things that help his family rest like the rest of us. There is no difference other than the difference in how you present yourself publicly. If you as an American don't think that Congress is not full of takers and don't like their perks why in the hell when they are talking about shrinking government it never includes their pay and benefits. Their are only two reason three reasons to want to be in Washington, 1. Money 2. Power 3. Perks/Benefits the latter two are the very same things they accuse average everyday Americans of coveting and why we didn't elect a rich man (Romney) nationally like we elected (Scott) in Florida. Why would any working American vote for one of these rich people knowing they are not going to govern in the best interest of the working class is beyond me. If they think that because they made money in life they will help them make money that is ludicrous because most of them was born in money so their plight don't apply to most of us.

Does it matter? Its about to be legalized anyway. Bush did, Obama and Clinton. I don't see the point.

Is the real question about "smoking pot" or "smoking pot illegally"? For example, If you are a person who used to live in The Netherlands and you smoked while you were there and it's all legal, then you moved to the U.S., became a citizen, and running for Mayor.  Should smoking pot be an issue against that person since it's pretty much like drinking beer when/where he did it?

Marco Rubio, was paying thousands to Bovo's firm absentee voting 78,223 absentee votes, compared to 26,533 for Meek and 25,478 for Crist.

This is a real problem here and the disparity in registrations for democrats v. Repbus voters this year is astounding. Add the fraud you brought up in your post we should have FBI, DOJ investigating the results of  Rick Scott and  marco rubio”

Scott is not the only prominent GOP member in Florida with close ties to the absentee-ballot fraud machine. Consider Marco Rubio's famous U.S. Senate victory.

Helping Rubio cruise to a surprise win was a political consulting firm owned by Viviana Bovo, the wife of county Commissioner Esteban Bovo. She was paid $19,637 for "political strategy" and "consulting" by Rubio's campaign.

@Eugenio A. Alonso ... the point -- for idiots like you -- is that MILLIONS of American are suffering FELONY drug convictions for marijuana, and 10's of thousands are IN PRISON or Parole for the same personal drug use that these scumbag hypocritical politicians think should only be criminalized for "other people".

.................i really don't blame  oH MARco !  for being the beneficiary of a very corrupt system as SOFLA has always been tainted and sleezy in VOTING with nearly dead and illiterate significant blocs subject to all manner of influence and adultrations

SOFLA  may have the lowest percentage of eligible VOTERs who actually participate and those that DO are typically mis-informed or simply have to decide between to equally clownish and corrupt contestants

alex daoud has made public long ago how thoroughly pervasive the problems are and with MORE money available today since daoud i don't think anything down here is for the better in government operations especially public elections = period

......................there is currently action on looking at 30,000 convictions with terms exceeding standards due to MANDITORY minimum guidlines

to think individuals are in for twenty years or more for something that is practically legal today is too severe for drug offenses NOT including violent criminal activity BUT only possession or casual personal use

@DonkeyHotay @frankd4

we deny everyONE and ANYone the right to cast a VOTE (that gets counted)

if romney did NOT conceed the FLORIDA count it would still be going on - FLORIDA was the ONLY state that did NOT have its count in the national presidential election officially CERTIFIED

(once OHIO went oBaMa the mittens conceeded BUT florida had yet to report even three days later and ultimately didn't)

@frankd4  ... from a State that denies ex-offenders the Right to Vote -- no matter how long ago the conviction was, or what state it happened in.
