Most Americans Agree with Jeb Bush's Mom: Jeb Shouldn't Run

Saturday Night Live may have portrayed Jeb Bush as a wannabe-Coachella hipster desperate to get the youth vote a few weeks backs, but by the funniest thing about his possible presidential campaign is the fact that his own mother, the ever-outspoken Barbara Bush, is publicly against it.

Over the past few years she's said multiple times that she doesn't think Jeb should run, and she's not pleased either with the idea of a Clinton vs. Bush presidential race, even if it is Jeb and Hilary.

"I think this is a great American country, and if we can't find more than two or three families to run for high office, that's silly," she once said. Well, a new WSJ/NBC News poll finds that the vast majority of Americans agree with her.

Here's exactly what the poll asked:

As you may know, it has been reported that both Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush are considering running for president in 2016. In an interview, former First Lady Barbara Bush said, "There are more than two or three families that should run for high office in America." Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Sixty-nine percent of respondents say they agreed with the poll. Ten percent said the statement applied more to Jeb than Hillary, while 7 percent thought the opposite. Though, 50 percent said that the statement applied to each equally.

Though, 25 percent said they didn't agree with the statement.

Interestingly the poll found that both Clinton and Bush's unfavorability rating is 32 percent. The difference is that Jeb's favorability rating is only 21 percent. Hillary's is 48.

Barbara Bush has been blunt about her opinion of a Jeb run.

"I hope he won't," she once said, "because I think he'll get all of my enemies, all his brother's ... and there are other families."

"What date is Mother's Day this year? Asking for a friend," Jeb once tweeted out as a response. Well, actually it's two Sundays from now. Should be a good time for you two.

People seem to forget that while Jeb Bush was Governor of Florida, his wife was stopped by customs bringing thousands of undeclared items from her trip in Europe, his daughter needed to go to rehab and his son was almost arrested allegedly intoxicated knocking the door of his then girlfriend. So if he can't control his family, how is he going to run our country?

the bush family= Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

People are sick of the Bush family brand and the world is moving away from them.

ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush authorized the sale to Iraq of numerous items that had both military and civilian applications, including poisonous chemicals and deadly biological viruses, such as anthrax and bubonic plague.”

As is widely reported, Hussein used these chemical weapons against Iranians in the Iran-Iraq war.

After the 1991 Gulf War, U.N. inspectors “compiled long lists of chemicals, missile components, and computers from American suppliers, including such household names as Union Carbide and Honeywell, which were being used for military purposes” in Iraq.

George W. Bush

A study’s conclusions were further reinforced when former Bush White House press secretary Scott McClellan wrote, “top Bush aides had outlined a strategy for carefully orchestrating the coming campaign to aggressively sell the war… In the permanent campaign era, it was all about manipulating sources of public opinion to the president’s advantage.”

According to the study, then President George W Bush made 232 false statements about Iraq and former leader Saddam Hussein’s possessing weapons of mass destruction, and 28 false statements about Iraq’s links to al Qaeda.

“President George W. Bush and seven of his administration’s top officials, including Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, made at least 935 false statements in the two years following September 11, 2001, about the national security threat posed by Saddam Hussein’s Iraq…

On at least 532 separate occasions, Bush and these three key officials, along with Secretary of State Colin Powell, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, and White House press secretaries Ari Fleischer and Scott McClellan, stated unequivocally that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (or was trying to produce or obtain them), links to Al Qaeda, or both.”

On July 2004, the Republican majority led Senate Select Committee released the Intelligence Senate Report on Iraqi WMD Intelligence, which identified numerous failures in intelligence gathering and “analysis” (i.e., interpretation). However, Republicans defended the Bush administration’s statements on Iraq.

An investigation into the administration’s use of the intelligence was delayed for three years due to Republicans claiming it wasn’t as important (Senator Roberts, R-KS) as other pending items. Phase two of the investigation was released in 2007, but not all of the report was released. It determined, “our Committee has concluded that the Administration made significant claims that were not supported by the intelligence.”

Of course Jeb shouldn't run! Just what the Bush family needs- another imbecile son bringing the Bush family and their backdoor energy business dealings back into the American spotlight. If they think they can get him in there and get back to the business of war profiteering, they clearly don't understand how pissed off the American public is and how even if he were elected, the American people will not put up with more of that ilk from their family. Think about it America. If this is THE BEST the Republicans have to offer, I think it is pretty clear their party has devolved into a bunch of loonies who are unfit for office.

Jeb was disowned by the Bushes... He made his fortune with Armando Codina in real estate development.

Bush Family Arrest & Prison

George P. Bush, Jeb’s son, was busted for burglary and criminal mischief in Florida when he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and drove his Ford Explorer across the home’s front lawn. George P. avoided arrest.

John "Jebby" Bush, Jr. was caught by the police, literally, with his pants down in a parking lot, having sex with a teen-age girl. No charges were filed

Noelle Bush was arrested at Walgreens on a charge of prescription fraud, attempting to obtain Xanax but soon released from rehabilitation to the custody of her parents. A judge dismissed the drug charges against her. Jeb Bush covered up three other prescription fraud incidents. Does anyone seriously think that, if Ms. Bush had been a young, black person, she wouldn't now be languishing behind bars for the next several years for multiple drug violations?
