Five Reasons Marco Rubio Isn't Ready to Be President

Categories: El Jefe, Politicks

Florida Senator Marco Rubio said yesterday in New Hampshire that he was ready to be president. Problem is the 43-year-old man who would be the first Hispanic big cheese doesn't have the goods. Here are five reasons why:

5. He opposed the nomination of the nation's top Hispanic jurist pretty much based upon her support for privacy rights -- a Republican issue to be sure. Rubio cited Roe vs. Wade in defending his position -- so it hurts with both groups of potential supporters, And oh yeah, though he opposes abortion, he insists he's "not a chauvinist."

4. He hasn't been around long enough. He said in his speech that a candidate for president probably shouldn't be running for another office. Well, the guy hasn't even finished his first term as Senator. He rose quickly through the Florida House of Representatives to be speaker. And he doesn't know jack about foreign policy. Is this a guy whose finger should be on the button? I mean, he is young as John Kennedy, but doesn't; have the military experience or the Harvard education.

 ..................so what ?

................oH MARco ! isn't ready to be a US senator either but we here in SOFLA are dumb enough to elect a monkey into office

..........and SARAH PALIN would be an einstein here in our STATE legislature

..........we don't only elect the dumbest candidates but also the most corrupt candidates hold a special reason to get in - we no longer have to KNOCK anyone oFF when we can today simply PAY them oFF

if you look at the "growler" ban our state legislature insists on it is because BIG BOOZE distribution which is controlled by the real gangsters down here is PAYing oFF those state legislators .................craft-brewers DO create J O B S and stimulate a local municipal economy and even draw tourism - all things conservative GOP state legislators herald - right ? well,  yes,  EXCEPT when linning their OWN pockets with bribes and kick-backs pays them MORE then they could care LESS about J O B S and the local economy and even tourism in a state that's all about the tourist buck

He is a climate change denier to Boot. That should get him kicked off the Senate Science Committee at the very least. How can we trust lawmakers to create policy if they deny scientific consensus?

..........................of course oH MARco ! can be president.........of columbia or venezuela maybe.............just not of america.........and basically the closer HE thinks he can make it the MORE desperate and inane his statements will become

he has NO military experience

he has NO advanced ivy-league education

he has passed NO significant legislation

he offers NOTHING to his basic core constituents

his flip-flopping will make him look confused

Let him run. Please. As a democrat I want this guy and Paul to run. Should make them easier to unseat when their seats go for reelection in 2016.  Now since I'm a guy who likes a fair fight, I think the Republicans should cut the crap and just nominate Walker directly. Scott Walker is the only guy (And Maybe Jeb?) that can defeat Hillary Clinton.

Is reading a prompter or google-ing "Crimea" "Centerfuge" to have a clue what to say if asked - good enough for Presidente?

Rubio is a  common anchor baby

“rivera has been accused of misusing campaign donations for personal use, and Rubio has largely admitted to having done the same thing.

Indeed, the far-right senator was about using a Republican Party credit card to purchase personal items. Rubio conceded it "looks bad," and acknowledged, "I shouldn't have done it that way."

It's worth noting that we're not talking about minor purchases -- Rubio billed the state GOP for more than $100,000 during his two-year tenure as Florida's House speaker, including repairs to his family minivan.

marco rubio and david rivera the two con men also co-owned a house together, a house that went into foreclosure

Every Cuban American family has at least one wanna be "VICTIM" as a member.

many Republicans want to consider amending or is repealing the 14th amendment to make sure anchor babies do not get citizenship. I wonder whether some Republicans silently resent him. Marco rubio

just five?

.Rubio is a product of entitlement through the mechanisms of the most corrupt political system I have seen (at the surface) during my lifetime in Florida.

what did this mor on accomplish other than running up a tab on the taxpayers backs

A Cuban on the ballot means nothing to the general population of the
Hispanic community. Most Latin Americans don't like Cubans

The same Marco Rubio? That Talks Big but Fails to Deliver?

Spend thousands with GOP credit card

"Marco Rubio Lied About His Cuban Exile Immigrant Background"

as House speaker when he spent nearly $400,000 on office renovations.

Rubio's 2010 senate campaign was fined $8,000 by the Federal Elections Committee for receiving "prohibited, excessive and other impermissible contributions totaling $210,173.09."

Records show Rubio sent payments to American Express totaling $13,900 for his personal expenses during his tenure as House speaker. But those payments were not made monthly. He made no contributions to the bill during a six-month stretch in 2007, records show.

One committee paid relatives nearly $14,000 for what was incorrectly described to the IRS as "courier fees" and listed a nonexistent address for one of them. Another committee paid $5,700 to his wife, who was listed as the treasurer, much of it for "gas and meals."

Rubio's spending continued in 2005 when the Republican Party of Florida handed him a credit card to use at his own discretion. While serving as House speaker in 2007 and 2008, he charged thousands of dollars in restaurant tabs to the state party at the same time taxpayers were subsidizing his meals in Tallahassee.

Marco Rubio, was paying thousands to Bovo's firm absentee Helping Rubio cruise to a surprise win was a political consulting firm owned by Viviana Bovo, the wife of county Commissioner Esteban Bovo. She was paid $19,637 for "political strategy" and "consulting" by Rubio's campaign.

Will the Birthers Scrutinize Marco Rubio's U.S. Citizenship?

Rubio is a hypocrite he want his family to have health insurance but not the taxes payer. who pay his salary and health insurance the laugh is on the people who voted for him who might need and will benefit from the ACA.Poor Marco Rubio. He's only signing up for Obamacare and pocketing those ten grand because he's FORCED to, lol. What a terrible fate! Obamacare is worse than slavery, LOL

This is proof that the makers and the so called takers are the same people. These guys that claim that they are the makers are makers because they are taking from us takers so to speak. The Waltons make their money from the least of us or the so called takers. The Rubio's of the world take advantage of things that help his family rest like the rest of us. There is no difference other than the difference in how you present yourself publicly. If you as an American don't think that Congress is not full of takers and don't like their perks why in the hell when they are talking about shrinking government it never includes their pay and benefits. Their are only two reason three reasons to want to be in Washington, 1. Money 2. Power 3. Perks/Benefits the latter two are the very same things they accuse average everyday Americans of coveting and why we didn't elect a rich man (Romney) nationally like we elected (Scott) in Florida. Why would any working American vote for one of these rich people knowing they are not going to govern in the best interest of the working class is beyond me. If they think that because they made money in life they will help them make money that is ludicrous because most of them was born in money so their plight don't apply to most of us.
