Ray Allen came up big when he was needed most, hitting three huge threes, and pulling down grown man rebounds late, leading the Heat to a 94-82 win over the Brooklyn Nets that pushes their series lead to 2-0. The Big 3 had their second straight meh game, combining for just 54 points, but once again the Heat used a solid all around team effort to handle the Nets. Five Heat players scored in double figures in the win, and the Heat are two games from their fourth straight Eastern Conference Finals.

But the Nets swept the Heat in the regular season you guys!

Deron Williams put up that good Roy Hibbert stat line, shooting 0-9 for no points. Joe Johnson also had a sub par game, scoring just 13 in the loss.

The game itself was a wire-to-wire snooze fest to be honest, with both teams playing pretty poorly all night long. The Heat were able to pull it out because of big rebounds and timely three point shooting, most of which came from Ray Allen. Yes, I said rebounding.

Allen was huge on the boards last night, pulling down eight rebounds off the bench. At one point Allen charged into the paint where four Nets sat and stole the rebound right from under them. Late in the game Allen pulled down a critical rebound in a game clinching sequence that featured three straight Heat offensive rebounds for the Heat, four LeBron shots, and finally, a LeBron layup. The possession took over a minute and a half, and basically put the victory on ice.

It wasn't a pretty win, but it was a win. Six down, ten to go.
