More than three days after a shooting at Mansion's VIP section left chef Antaun Teasley dead, Miami Beach police say the investigation remains ongoing and no names of suspects have yet been released. In the first day after the shooting, detectives interviewed six to eight potential suspects, Sergeant Bobby Hernandez tells Riptide, and in the days since they've been interviewing more.

But Hernandez says the logistics of the investigation are inherently difficult because of the crowded, chaotic nature of the shooting. "This was a club scene," he said. "There was a possibility it could have gotten contaminated. We'll never know."

Teasley, a well-known personal chef for Heat player Norris Cole, was killed from a bullet wound to his upper chest after an apparent fight broke out in the VIP section in the Washington Avenue club.

In the chaos of the fight and shooting, dozens of clubgoers poured out of Mansion and cleaning crews and staffers likely tramped through the murder scene. Key evidence could have been lost in the shuffle and getting witness testimony has been complicated.

In the days since his death, Teasley's social media has seen an outpouring of condolences:

Teasley was a popular figure among South Florida professional athletes, known and loved as much for his food as his exuberant attitude. "Sometimes I just look up," he posted on May 24 on his Instagram page, "smile, and say, 'I know that was you God! Thanks!'"

Someone knows something and needs to come forward. Everyone who was in VIP should be a suspect. If the camera quality was bad from the club, what about getting pictures from other patrons cell phones and see the faces of people in VIP that night. We miss you Sheezy. Still in shock:(

The camera feeds are probably bad on purpose or are really good quality and the city doesn't want the feed to go viral.
