WTF Is It?!? Fruit Salad

• Those are guavas?! I've never seen any like that. Very cool. That looks like one tasty salad. And wait a second...I'm paying?

• Thank you Carolina, you are truly a sport. The purple things are indeed prickly pear, specifically the fruit thereof, called "tuna" in their native country. The little green eyeballs are muscadine grapes, as you said. The "melons" are in fact guavas (the big kind, I grow the teeny little ones in my yard). The plant in the background is Mexican oregano. And of course, the little green thing is a chili pepper. The salad was delicious. So where are you taking me to dinner? :)

• All right, I'll give this a shot. The purple things definitely look like prickly pears. The small green fruits look like some sort of muscadine grape. But those melons, they've been giving me problems. (Wait, they are melons, right? If not, I'm way off base.) After a fair amount of Googling all sorts of melon varieties, the closest I could come up with was a Sakata's Sweet melon. Unless it's just a regular honeydew.
