Wine Education Fridays in the Grove

"Wine education" sounds so much better than "wine guzzling," don't you agree? But whether you want to educate your taste buds or just give them a high-quality buzz, local wine maven Barry Albert can help with his weekly wine tastings at Angelo & Maxie's Steakhouse in the Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Coconut Grove. This Friday, April 24, and every Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. there will be a themed  selection of Old and New World wines to taste, plus platters of domestic and imported cheeses, all for the modest tariff of $15 per person. And if a little curd isn't enough to sop up all that wine education, A&M's 26-ounce ribeye ought to do the trick.
